Delaware Libraries is seeking applicants for SIX (6) Summer Associates.
Will provide assistance with Digital Literacy and Essential Needs. Openings are for nine (9) weeks over the summer – Starting June 26 – August 27, 2023
Enhance & inspire learning, expose people to a wide array of career possibilities, providing ideas & opportunities to make their lives better. Utilize AI, Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality and Mixed Reality technology in training applications and share your own skills that you think will enhance opportunities for people to level up!
Provide programming and services to the public. Use existing and expanding healthy future programs with our partnering organizations throughout the state.
Reading is fundamental to success in life & stopping intergenerational poverty. Working with Delaware Libraries and their partners you will help design/develop and strengthen literacy programs for all ages!
This VISTA will work on disaster planning and services with the libraries and their partners.
In return for their service AmeriCorps VISTA members receive a modest living allowance during their service, and have the option of receiving a Segal AmeriCorps Education Award or post-service stipend after completing their service.
